Shoot 19

I absolutely love this shoot and would go as far as saying it is my best shoot of the whole exam period. The staged lighting I used is perfect and with a few little tweaks on Photoshop; mainly lighting and contrast, I produced the photographs exactly how I want them and I think they look fantastic. I captured true feelings and emotion within George's face which is what I've been really aiming for and the image I was able to capture of him from this photo shoot is exactly what the audience and people listening to his music would see; which will now be the second part of my exam final piece. This is what I wanted to achieve overall and feel I succeeded with my aims and objectives. Now that I have done the shoot and I'm happy with it, I want to do something really good with my edits and create a couple of collages that will make the photographs really eye-capturing and interesting. This is taking the idea back from when I did it early on in Shoot 5 and felt it really worked well which is why I would like to try it out again to display as my final piece. Overall I am over the moon with how this shoot turned out and feel I do not have to do another shoot as I have achieved everything I wanted too within this one.
Comparing to The Script, I chose to create a more simpler set up in this shoot as this portrays the music he composes a lot more truthfully. As within The Script shoot the set up and display of the concert was a lot more lively; this linked to the sort of music and atmosphere they were in at that particular moment. Whereas with George, my intentions were to portray him in a lot more of a soft and calmer way to access his emotions linking to what's going on behind the scenes and make a good impression to the audience of his music. I think the staged lighting does this really well as you can really pick out the emotion in his face and it links to the genre of music he composes a lot better.
