Final Piece - Fine Art Pieces - Sequence of 3
I am really pleased with the final outcome of my final piece as a whole and feel I have achieved everything that I wanted to. As you go along the pictures of the final pieces it's like a story of his life and that's exactly what I wanted to do. The first mixed media image is a mix of the forest shoot for the mystery and the severn shoot for the relaxation. This was my response to his piece of music which is on the CD provided and is representing what he wants the audience to take on from his music.
As you move on to the second lot of images, this is the part of the final piece where I portray how he wants the audience to see him and how they do see him when he's performing on stage or infront of a big group of people. I wanted to do something a little more interesting with these final pieces as I wanted to capture the viewers' eye and show all the different emotions and photographs I managed to take. I really like how they've turned out.
However; in the final third stage it then takes you behind the scenes. This is a mixed media image of how his audience should see him. This is what happens behind the scenes and a generalisation of the sort of atmosphere musicians can get lead in to with all the money they produce. It's a very stereotypical view; however I am just focusing generally on the stars that have died from drugs and alcohol and the young and old stars who get caught up in the haze of that crowd very easily. However, through their music and image on stage; the audience don't see this side. That's what I've created as a sequence for my final piece; portraying these three steps that a lot of musicians are caught up in. I have also mounted up some images that I've loved along the way through coursework and exam. These are just fine art prints that I wanted to show off.
However here are the three parts of my final piece:
